Heartbleed Bug
This is my site 14/04/2014 – 08:01

A critical bug was discovered last week in OpenSSL, a technology that underpins nearly all secure communications across the internet. This bug had potential to leak significant amounts of data to clients, including usernames, passwords, security keys and much more.

A fix was issued shortly after 11PM last Tuesday, and was applied immediately to all KEGS servers that had affected versions of the software. This includes the servers hosting KEGSnet and Remote Access Solution.

While we do not believe KEGS was targeted as part of this attack, and no data was compromised, we are also taken the precaution of rekeying all SSL certificates that are in use across our servers.

This process may take a little time and is likely to cause some issues. We ask that you bear with us while we complete this process for your own security.

Each server will be rekeyed at different times. Please check individual services for scheduled outage timescales.
