Welcome to the KEGS IT website where you will find information about the IT services provided at King Edward VI Grammar School, policies and user guidelines and contact details for the IT staff should you have any queries.
KEGS IT supports learning, teaching, and administration, providing a variety of communications and information technology facilities. All staff and students have access to IT facilities onsite and to their home directories via the remote access solution.

There is currently an issue with sending and receiving email to and from KEGS email. Our provider is looking in to this as a matter of urgency. We will update when we have more information.

Although slightly behind our original upgrade schedule, we have now deprecated the old version of Remote Access. We recommend that all users utilise the new version at https://access.kegs.org.uk and report any unexpected behaviour to the helpdesk or a member of IT staff. Email Issues – RESOLVED (22 Apr)

Our provider has now resolved yesterday’s issue. Any emails received will now start coming through to your mailboxes, though this may take a few hours for the queue to be fully processed. All outgoing emails have been sent successfully. This was also affecting access to KEGSNet and RAX, which is now also working.
