An update re IT services:

All computer suites, offices, and other desktop PCs have been updated are now running Windows 7 with all available updates, Internet Explorer 10 and Firefox 22 (latest versions as of mid-August). For the most part, you should notice little difference, with the exception of appearance. All normal day-to-day tasks are performed in the same manner (e.g. Microsoft Office Word/Excel, as this has not been upgraded).

There has been a major upgrade to the email system, to more easily accommodate the creation of email accounts for all students and improve stability. This has also resulted in a new version of Webmail, which has the added benefit of greater compatibility with newer web browsers. We are also now using an in-house spam filtering system which is still the process of being trained. More information on submitting spam messages to us will be published in due course.
