Over the course of the next few months, we will be upgrading various servers and services within the KEGS IT infrastructure, cluminating in an upgrade for KEGSnet in early January.

This work will start with the upgrade of several internal services over the course of this weekend.  This may lead to a few short periods of unavailability for some hosted websites.

Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th November

• Internal services
• Database servers

Friday 9th – Sunday 11th November

• Migration of KEGS hosted websites to new servers.
• This will result in websites hosted on Henry being temporarily unavailable for approximately 15-20 minutes per site over the course of these 3 days.

Friday 23rd – Sunday 25th November

• Target date for completion of trial run of VLE upgrade (vle.kegs.org.uk, Kegsnet)

Friday 11th & Saturday 12th January 2019

• Provisional date for KEGSnet upgrade
• This will result in a full outage of KEGSnet on these two dates.
