{"id":709,"date":"2013-09-05T12:08:19","date_gmt":"2013-09-05T11:08:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/it.kegs.org.uk\/?page_id=709"},"modified":"2019-01-28T12:23:51","modified_gmt":"2019-01-28T12:23:51","slug":"email-access","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/it.kegs.org.uk\/?page_id=709","title":{"rendered":"Email Access"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Email access is available to all KEGS students and staff.<br \/>\nTo access via a web browser, please visit <a title=\"KEGS Webmail\" href=\"https:\/\/webmail.kegs.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/webmail.kegs.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you want to use a mobile device (such as a mobile phone or tablet) to access you email, please see below for the relevant settings:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Either choose &#8216;Microsoft Exchange&#8217; or ActiveSync when asked for connection type.<br \/>\nIf asked, choose manual setup.<br \/>\nUsername: &lt;your network username&gt; e.g. jbloggs_t10@kegs.org.uk<br \/>\nPassword: &lt;your network password&gt;<br \/>\nEmail address: &lt;your email address&gt; e.g. jbloggs_t10@kegs.org.uk for students, or jbloggs@kegs.org.uk for staff.<br \/>\nServer address: outlook.office365.com<br \/>\nDomain: &lt;leave empty&gt;<br \/>\nLeave all other settings as default.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If requested, it is up to you if you also want to sync calendars, contact lists or task lists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Please note staff and students have a send and receive limit of 35MB per message (that is to say, the total size of a message either sent or received cannot exceed 35MB).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All users have a mailbox size of 50GB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All mailboxes have a retention policy applied. This means that each sent message will automatically be deleted after 7 years, and any &#8216;deleted items&#8217; will be permanently deleted after 90 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Please note KEGS IT department is unable to support personal devices.
