We are responsible for the management, operation and support of the School\u2019s wired and wireless networks, server infrastructure, telecommunications, hardware and software, staff e-mail and web resources.<\/p>\n<p>KEGS benefits from a wide range of IT facilities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 dedicated computer suites with a total of 149 desktop PCs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>36 desktop PCs in the Sixth Form Study Area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>14 desktop PCs in the Library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>6\u00a0desktop PCs in the Technology department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>3 laptop clusters for teaching in the Science,\u00a0Maths and PE departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Colour printing\u00a0facilities in all computer rooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual laptops available to all Staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Voice over IP phone systems, managed in-house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>All school websites hosted in-house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Dedicated classroom support staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Data projectors in all classrooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KEGS IT provides a range of information and communication technology services that support staff and students in their teaching and learning at King Edward VI Grammar School.
